The Areum Society Journey
Areum Society brings beauty treatments, cultural experiences, and exceptional dining together in one carefully planned week in Seoul. Every detail, from your hotel to your dinner reservations, is handled before you arrive.Your itinerary includes one beauty or wellness treatment each morning, chosen from a curated menu of the city's top clinics. Afternoons are set aside for cultural experiences, from palace visits to the city's most iconic neighborhoods. Dinner reservations are made at some of Seoul's best restaurants, from Korean barbecue to omakase. Private transportation is provided between each activity, along with private transfers to and from the airport.

Beauty & Wellness Treatments
Your beauty and wellness package includes a 90-minute full-body massage, a 15-step scalp treatment with hair conditioning, a Korean jjimjilbang experience, a Korean manicure with your choice of design, personalized facial beauty treatments, and a 60-minute foot massage.Before you travel to South Korea, you’ll have a consultation with the clinic to discuss your skin concerns and goals. Based on that consultation, the clinic will recommend a personalized treatment plan for you. Since every treatment plan is different, the cost of your facial treatment will be determined by the clinic and may vary from person to person. The consultation fee will be applied toward the final cost of your treatment.

For facial beauty treatments, each traveler will have a consultation with the clinic before traveling to South Korea. Based on your needs, concerns, and what you hope to achieve, the clinic will recommend a treatment plan for you. You can choose to follow the clinic's recommendation or make adjustments based on your own preferences and budget.
Can I join the journey if I am traveling alone?
Absolutely. Many women may be traveling to South Korea on their own, and the journey is designed to bring everyone together throughout the week. You can reserve a single room or share a room with another traveler.
How much free time will I have?
The itinerary includes planned beauty and wellness treatments, cultural experiences, and dinners, while leaving enough time for you to explore Seoul on your own. And if you choose to skip a planned cultural activity, you are welcome to use that time to experience the city on your own.
What happens after I reserve my spot?
Once your spot is confirmed, we will send you the information you need to prepare for your trip and begin coordinating your preferences, including your hotel room. For facial beauty treatments, we will also arrange your consultation with the clinic before you travel so your treatment plan can be prepared in advance. You will receive your final itinerary and trip details before departure.

The first step is a 15-minute call to talk about your trip, the cities
you would like to visit, your interests, and what you would like to experience in South Korea. We will also talk about the kind of help you need and make sure our travel planning service is the right fit for your trip.
2. We build your plan
If you decide to move forward, our planning fee is $350. This covers the research and recommendations for your trip, assistance with the bookings you would like us to handle, and a personalized day-by-day itinerary of up to three days.We can research and recommend the hotels, restaurants, activities, and transportation that fit your trip. Longer or more complex itineraries are quoted based on the scope of the trip.
3. Review your plans
Once your recommendations and itinerary are ready, we will review everything together on a 30-minute call. You can ask questions, make changes, and make sure everything is right before we finalize your plans.
4. We take care of the details
Once you are happy with your plans, we can take care of the reservations and bookings included in your service and coordinate the details for you.

I am Mariana, the founder of Areum Society. I first went to South Korea to celebrate my 40th birthday, and I quickly fell in love with the country. I loved the food, the energy of Seoul, the neighborhoods, and the way beauty and wellness are such a natural part of everyday life.Since that first trip in October 2022, I have returned to South Korea every year, sometimes twice a year, spending time in Seoul, Busan, and Jeju. I personally visit and evaluate the hotels, restaurants, beauty clinics, treatments, and experiences we recommend, and over the years I have built relationships with clinics, doctors, hotels, and local providers. These relationships have allowed me to secure preferential pricing and special perks, discover recommendations that visitors may not otherwise find, and create a smoother experience for our guests.Areum Society grew from that experience. I wanted to create the kind of trip I would want to take myself, carefully planned, easy to navigate, and filled with experiences worth traveling for. The beauty treatments are an important part of the journey, but so are the restaurants, the culture, the neighborhoods, and everything in between.I have spent the past five years getting to know South Korea, and now I want to share what I have discovered with other women.
